Love is in the air and on the walls of the Curtis Memorial Library; during February Spindleworks artists continue their obsession with all things pink. “Pink Crush” will feature a variety of items on this theme including an Jeanette Baribeauinstallation of collected imagery painstakingly cut out and displayed in an orderly fashion. This grouping of art represents the things we are passionate about: true love, flowers, birds, hearts, color, birthdays, and clothes.
This show will include a variety of paintings, drawings, and watercolors and will feature the following artists: Emma Becker, Kim Devries, Karen McGann, Caroline Boylston, Robin Albert, Skylar Goldwaite, and more. The range of art represented ini the variety of meaning conveyed by a single color. The subtle sensitivity of the color of flesh to the firey passion of the pink-red hue, or the pure candy appeal of bubble gum pink are all represented in this delightful collection of items.
