The pleasing nature of circles appeals to many Spindleworks artists, both in mark making and in a sculptural format. Among the wide variety of works in this show, viewers will find the latest thrown works from our pottery studio, sculpture inspired by gourds, sewn creations and hooped embroideries.

Join us for the 9th Annual Brunswick Outdoor Arts Festival on the sidewalks of Maine Street in Downtown Brunswick and on the Town Mall (green) from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, August 15. A Rain or Shine Event.This festival is designed to celebrate and foster an appreciation of the arts in downtown Brunswick and to showcase the town as a wonderful cultural destination. Stroll along Maine’s widest Maine Street and Town Green in Downtown Brunswick, among the works of art varying from painting to sculpture to photography and fine crafts. Dozens of interactive demo artisans and specialty food vendors will set up on the Town Mall. A true family event, throughout the day there will be live music on two stages, performance artists, face painting and craft projects and activities for kids and families. Spindleworks will have two booths to visit: Our booth on the corner of Maine and Lincoln will feature beautiful works of art from the studios, and our tent on the Mall will be set up for weaving demonstrations. Earl, Diane and Theresa will be there for the day working on their weaving and other fiber works, and offering visitors and chance to try their hand at weaving.
