What: From Up River
Where: Whatnot Gallery, Spindleworks
7 Lincoln Street Brunswick
When: Reception, August 8th, 5 – 8 pm
A school of fine art has swum down the Kennebec from SpinOff Studios in Gardiner to festoon the Whatnot Gallery at Spindleworks: dolphins, mermaids, bucolic riverside vistas, waterfowl and beyond. Discover the vibrant work created by artists at SpinOff Studio, and celebrate the partnership between the two programs during Brunswick’s Second Friday Artwalk, August 8th. SpinOff Studio is Spindleworks’ sister program, also facilitated by working artists. Serving the Kennebec Valley area since 2011, SpinOff recently moved from Hallowell to Gardiner, tripling their square footage in order to accommodate the growing program.
