Where: Gallery Framing, 12 Pleasant Street, Brunswick
When: October 1-31, 2013
Opening Reception: 5-8pm, October 11th
As fall arrives, and we all begin to come inside, it seems an appropriate time to consider where we come inside to; the structure, the place. Spindleworks’ October exhibit at Gallery Framing is a collection of work taking a look at dwellings, real and imagined. Angela Alderete’s painting of a neighbor’s house taps into that curiosity in us all about how other’s live. Barbara Carter’s Technicolor portrait of a neighborhood stands in stark contrast to Mitch Pfeifle’s photographic study of an abandoned summer kitchen. From warm and cheery to mysterious and haunting, this diverse exhibit includes drawings and paintings, sculpture, photo and fiber work. Join us for the opening during the second Friday ArtWalk in Brunswick October 11th, 5-8pm.
