What: Call for Entries Exhibit: tiny, take two
When: exhibit dates: August 5-September 6
deadline for submissions: July 8th
Where: Whatnot Gallery, Spindleworks, 7 Lincoln Street, Brunswick
Last year we thought that the artists should have the opportunity to be the deciders. We hosted “tiny”, a juried show where the Spindleworks artists chose which works would hang in their gallery. It was a great experience, and a terrific show, so we are doing it again. “tiny, take two” will be an exhibit of works no larger than 4″ x 4″ x 4″ (if framed, the frame may not exceed 8”x 8”, but we prefer everyone to consider making the entire piece within the smaller size). Works in all media will be considered.
1. Please email jpegs of up to three images for consideration to firstname.lastname@example.org (*please indicate “Spindleworks: TINY” in the subject line) OR send CD of images to Liz McGhee, Spindleworks, 7 Lincoln Street, Brunswick, ME 04011.
2. non refundable $5 entry fee for up to three submissions (make checks payable to “Spindleworks”) and accompanying entry form sent to Spindleworks
July 26: Accepted artists will be notified by email/phone (we will notify sooner if we can!!!).
July 30: Selected works must be delivered no later than July 30th to Spindleworks.
The exhibit will run August 5th-September 6th, with an artist reception August 9th, 5-8pm in conjunction with the Second Friday ArtWalk.
