What: thrive: Spindleworks at 35
Where: Curtis Memorial Library
23 Pleasant Street, Brunswick
When: November 1-30 2013
Opening Reception: 5-8pm, November 1
Coming into the home stretch of our 35th year, we are going to celebrate with style. Our 35th anniversary show, thrive, will feature the best and newest from the studios on Lincoln street, and will give a sampling of the fine artwork Spindleworks is known for. And because all that we do cannot be represented just on the walls, there will be two additional events during the month; a movie night including oldies from the archive as well as more recent video works, and Voice: an evening of poetry, stories and memories, hosted by Gary Lawless joined by our founding director, Nan Ross.
Oldies & Goodies: an evening of film shorts from the Spindleworks Archive
November 7th 6:30pm, Morrell Meeting Room, Curtis Memorial Library
Voice: a reading and telling of favorite Spindleworks poems, stories and memories
hosted by Gary Lawless.
