HOW TO FIND US
Spindleworks is located in the heart of downtown Brunswick, just off Route one, half an hour North of Portland, 10 minutes North of Freeport, it is an easy stop. Map

DIRECTIONS
Traveling North or South on 295: Take exit 28 (Brunswick). Stay in the right lane through the 3rd stop light traveling towards Maine Street (do not turn left towards Bath!), then take a left at the 4th stoplight onto Union Street. Take second right onto Lincoln Street. We are three quarters of the way down on the right. Parking lot is behind the building.

Traveling South on Route 1 : Traveling south from Bath, follow signs for Brunswick. At stop light with Cumberland Farms on your right, take a left towards Maine Street. Take your next left onto Union Street, and second right onto Lincoln. We are three quarters of the way down on the right. Parking lot is behind the building.

GETTING INVOLVED
Joining the program: Artists interested in accessing the program should contact the Spindleworks Director for more information (207-725- 8820) or director@spindleworks.org. There is an application and assessment process that takes approximately one month.

CALL FOR ARTISTS
Spindleworks is looking for artists to teach one to four part workshops at Spindleworks. Workshops can run from 1-1.5 hours, and are usually held here between 10:30-noon, m-f. We welcome artists working in any media including performance arts. Our facility has a drawing and painting studio, weaving studio, small printing press, wood shop and ceramics studio. Stipends are available. Interested persons should call Liz McGhee at 725-8820 for more information, send a letter of interest and proposal to Spindleworks, 7 Lincoln Street, Brunswick ME 04011

VOLUNTEERING!
There are many ways to get involved as a volunteer at Spindleworks. Would you like to teach a class? Take an artist to coffee? Teach someone a new skill? Go on a field trip? Write or research grants? Help around the property? Give us a call and tell us how you would like to help!

DONATIONS
Monetary contributions are a wonderful way to give to the Spindleworks as they help to enrich our programming. Your donation will allow us to go on a field trip, update old equipment, buy new tools for the wood shop, buy supplies for a special project, have a visiting artist teach a class, and much more.

WISH LIST
We are very resourceful and gladly accept donations of supplies. In particular, we would be happy to have any art supplies such as paper, paints, and brushes, framing supplies such as frames, matt board, and glass, and other materials such as wood, wool, and tools. If you think you might have something we can use, please give us a call!
