Kim has so many interests that it is hard to keep up, and she is constantly learning new skills and adding more techniques to her repertoire. She is a talented weaver, creating scarves, bags, and belts for the store, and is also exploring textile arts, including creating painted art quilts and embroideries. Kim also enjoys drawing, making bookmarks, journals, cards and pretty much trying anything new! As well as the visual arts, Kim has also been part of the Spindleworks ensemble, appearing in three performances at the Theater Project in Brunswick in the last several years. She is also a wonderful friend and mentor to her peers, making sure that everyone feels safe and happy while they work. Kim lives in Albion Maine, but really is a New Yorker, and a proud one at that.
“I am one of a kind. People say I am so nice and my work is nice, too. I get a lot of compliments on my work and when people buy my work they ask who made it and they love it all.”
